Mr. Srivaddhanaprabha, a founder and CEO of King Power Duty Free, acquired the English football club Leicester City in 2010 for 56.2 million dollars. The businessman helped the Foxes to win the Premier League for the first time in the 132-year history of the football club, increasing its value to 360.7 million dollars.

Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, whose fortune reaches 2,9 billion dollars, is ranked as the sixth richest man in Thailand. According to The Sun, the owner of Leicester City decided to visit Genting Casino in order to celebrate the famous victory. A 58-year Thai businessman left the gambling house with $3.6 million in his pocket after a few hours spent on gambling. This amount is more than enough to accomplish his promise and reward each player of the team by purchasing a Mercedes Electric Drive, whose price is 46,174 dollars.

The successful businessman founded his empire of duty-free trading in one of the Bangkok's shops in 1989. According to the recent estimates of Forbes, Vichai is ranked as the 612th richest man in the world in 2016.
