This piece of equipment is widely used in offline gambling. It is common in casinos, poker rooms and institutions of other formats. 

Description

Drop Box – a container for storing chips and cash.

It is usually a lockable metal box attached to the underside of the game table on the dealer's side. 

Drop boxes help keep chips and banknotes safe when they are in the game room. Without them, it is much easier for a fraudster to steal money or tokens. 

Drop boxes are especially important in clubs where cash exchange is allowed at the table.
