In 1987-1995, he studied at the University of Technology Kaunas, earning a master's degree in economics.

Career

Staniulis' sporting nature has allowed him to achieve good results in the betting business, which is why his company Top Sport is thriving today. Having opened the first betting shop in Lithuania in 2001, the company has now expanded to 90 shops.

Hardened on the basketball court, the sportsman found a niche that allowed him to reveal his best qualities.

Personal life

Gintaras is married with three children.

The older sons, 18-year-old Djugas and 16-year-old Ignas, play basketball exclusively as amateurs and have not yet decided whether to move to professional basketball. Their youngest daughter, Elsa, is 8.

Revenue

Gintaras Staniulis is the main shareholder of the bookmaker Top Sport and together with his family has a stake in the gaming company Tete-a-tete.

In 2020, with a fortune of 50 million euros, Gintaras Staniulis was ranked 97th in the list of the 500 richest people in Lithuania.

Interesting facts

In his youth, G.Staniulis played for the Kaunas basketball team Zalgiris and was a Lithuanian champion. He was an attacking guard who played his last game on October 21, 2000.

In 2016, Top Sports became the general sponsor of Zalgiris.
