General description
BlockDance B.V. is a company registered in Curaçao that specialized in operating cryptocurrency casinos and betting platforms. The company's main and most well-known brand was the BC.Game platform, which was launched in 2017. The platform positioned itself as a cryptocurrency casino with a focus on sports betting, cybersports and gambling.
The company became known for its focus on the cryptocurrency segment of the market, offering a wide range of digital assets for deposits and withdrawals. BC.Game has been active in developing partnerships in the sports industry, including sponsorship of English club Leicester City and esports club Cloud9. However, over the past two years, the company has faced significant regulatory and financial challenges that have led to significant changes to its structure and operations.

License and Jurisdiction
BlockDance B.V. was originally based on the Curaçao eGaming license issued by Curaçao Interactive Licenses (C.I.L.). However, in October 2024, Kansspelautoriteit (KSA), the Dutch gambling regulatory authority, imposed a fine of €280,000 per week (maximum €840,000) for operating without a license in the Netherlands.
The investigation revealed that the bc.game platform and bcgame.lu allowed Dutch players to create accounts, make deposits and gamble without any technical barriers to prevent access from the Netherlands, despite the regulator's instructions.
In November 2024, the Joint Court of Justice of Aruba, Curaçao, Sint Maarten, and the BES Islands declared BlockDance B.V. and Small House B.V. bankrupt. The court found that players were left owing more than €2.1 million in unpaid funds. The company voluntarily revoked its Curaçao license in December 2024, a day before the regulator was due to announce its revocation.

Gambling sites
BlockDance B.V.'s main platform was BC.Game, a cryptocurrency casino and betting platform that offered:
- Over 10,000 game titles from leading developers
- Integration with providers NetEnt, BetSoft, KA Gaming, Igrosoft and High5 Games
- Live casino section with real-time games
- Cybersports and sports betting sections with high odds
The platform had a welcome bonus of up to 1 BTC plus 100 free spins with a wagering requirement of 45x on deposit and bonus and 40x on free spins winnings.
In April 2024, BC.Game's management operations were transferred to Small House B.V., which claimed to have acquired only the platform's assets while excluding the liabilities to players accumulated under the management of BlockDance B.V. However, the court later found that operational continuity was evident, which was one of the reasons for the bankruptcy.
