Apart from the 2016 World Series of Poker Main Event, other poker tournaments are also being held at the moment. One of them is YouStake Performance of the Week. The last competition was won by the Swedish poker player Michael Tureniec. He managed to receive his first title by winning the $1,111 Little One for One Drop.
The tournament was organized by YouStake.com, which is a sports betting platform. The company has recently decided to expand its activities on the betting market by purchasing the poker wagering platform TastyStakes.com.
The $1,111 Little One for One Drop included 4,360 participants. Initially, it was necessary to pay $1,000 as an entry fee in order to receive 5,000 chips. Then users could obtain 5,000 extra chips paying only 111 dollars. This amount was used for charity.
The Swedish poker player was able to collect $525,520. This payout increased his total earnings for the entire poker career to 3.765 million dollars.
In the heads-up round Tureniec defeated Calvin Anderson. Ryan D'Angelo, who enjoyed a third-place finish, was eliminated earlier.
At the beginning of the heads-up round, Anderson was a chip leader. He had twice as many chips as Tureniec. However, this fact did not become an obstacle on the way of Tureniec to the golden bracelet.
It is interesting to note that this victory allowed Tureniec to improve his positions in several rankings. In particular, he is taking the fourth position in the Swedish all time money list. In addition, he has the 232nd place in the all time money list current rank. In the all time money list best rank he is occupying the 187th position. The global poker index ranking shows that he has the 379th position. And finally, he is taking the 242nd place in the popularity ranking.
Michael Tureniec has become the last winner of the YouStake Performance of the Week in summer.
