In Lucky Mines we have to guess the cells under which stars and bombs are hidden. If we are lucky and open a star, we win. The game with simple mechanics was released by InOut Games. Spoiler: in general it is interesting to play due to the fact that you can change the number of bombs on the field, which changes the complexity of the game and possible wins in case of success.

Finding an honest casino with games from InOut Games can be faster if you choose from already verified sites. All projects in our rating are suitable for safe play at Lucky Mines. This allows you not to waste time on self-checks (in which you can still make a mistake and end up with scammers), and go straight to a verified casino.
Before proceeding to the game for money, try the demo mode.
It is available at the beginning of the review and is launched without registration. The free version fully repeats the "real" gameplay, so you can calmly study the rules. This approach helps to avoid unnecessary risks and waste.
At the end of the review there is a Casinoz list with verified casinos to play for real money. All sites have been tested and are suitable for safe betting. If necessary, you can first read the reviews - our experts have prepared a detailed analysis of each site that is on the list, with pros, cons and basic conditions.
The game is played on a 5x5 field. The player sees identical cells in front of him. Under them are hidden symbols of 2 types: star (winning bet) or bomb (losing bet). The number of bombs on the field can be chosen by yourself - from 2 to 24. The location of stars and bombs in each round changes randomly. Naturally, the more bombs, the higher the risk (the more difficult to guess the cell with a star), but also the more winnings in case of success. If the gambler opens a cell and sees a star - he can either take the winnings or make the next attempt. Each subsequent attempt increases the multiplier. The fewer stars remain hidden on the field, the faster the multiplier grows. No bet is charged for each subsequent attempt. You can select closed cells either manually (cursor, finger on touch screens) or by pressing the Random button under the field.
For 1 bet the player can risk an amount from 0.01 to 200.00. The maximum winnings are 20,000.
Those who choose to play Lucky Mines have a good chance of playing the game in the plus side - the return percentage is 96.50%, which is above average. I spent a little more than 2 hours on the game. I played on a hunch, often taking a lot of risks (placing 10+ bombs on the field, or making 3-5+ attempts at one bet). Nevertheless, at the end of the demo game my balance was slightly higher than the starting balance, and the biggest drawdown was -50% (when I tried to play with 20 bombs on the field at high stakes).

If a player has a goal to play in the plus (or at least not to spend money very quickly), it is better to play with a small risk. I recommend to choose no more than 5 bombs on the field, and withdraw the winnings after the first opening of the star - in this case the winnings will be small, but a very big chance to win. If you want to add a thrill, you can choose 3-5 bombs, and make 2-4 attempts.
Chances of success in this case will still be great, and the winnings can already reach up to x2.5-x3. For players with small deposits can try to combine these tactics: while there is a reserve of money - risk more (5 bombs, 2-3 attempts). If there will be a losing streak, and the balance will sag - reduce the risk (3 bombs, 3 attempts).
Lucky Mines has a very convenient interface: it is simple, clear at a glance, and there is nothing superfluous in it that would take up space for nothing. It can be divided into 3 parts: a separate bar at the top, a control box at the bottom, and the playing field in the center. On the strip above the field there is a How to Play button (leads to the rules section), menu and full screen mode buttons. The balance is also displayed here. In the menu you can open your betting history, check the honesty of the randomizer, go to the description of the rules and turn on/off music. On the control box under the field on the left you can change the bet. It can be changed with buttons - and +, coin button (there are several numbers to choose from), or click on the amount and enter the numbers manually. In the center of the block you can select the number of bombs on the field. On the right side there is a big green start button, and an autoplay button (how to start it - we'll tell you a bit below). On the central part of the screen is the playing field. Above it are shown multipliers: on the left - the one that is reached now, on the right - the one that will be reached if the player successfully opens the next cell. Now let's understand how to consistently and quickly understand the interface and rules in practice:
Launch Lucky Mines at the beginning of the review - there is a free demo.
Press Play and select any cell. If you opened a star - repeat until we open the bomb. Pay attention to how each step changes the multiplier over the playing field.
Dealing with autoplay. To start it, you need to select the number of bombs, turn on the Auto Game toggle switch. After that, you can select cells manually (any number), or press the Random button. Now the Auto Game button next to the green button will become active. You need to press it, and several settings will appear. You can set the number of rounds (from 3 to 500), stop on reaching losses or stop when the winnings exceed X.
We play in demo mode in any convenient way (manually or in autoplay) on a hunch. This is necessary to assess the interest and payoff. Also in the demo you can try different tactics - for example, I tried to mark cells in the corners of the field.
Both Android and iOS phones and tablets are suitable for playing Lucky Mines. The mobile version will be loaded automatically if you open the game on any suitable gadget in any popular browser. Since the interface of Lucky Mines is properly shaped and doesn't take up much space - you can keep your device in portrait or landscape orientation. The game window is correctly displayed even on small phones. Since there are no complex animations and the design is very simple - the game will work even on inexpensive models.
Casinoz team opinion: I found Lucky Mines interesting to test - the rules are simple, the gameplay is varied, you can change the conditions (number of bombs). I also liked the good RTP and the possibility to play at very low stakes - it is useful for players with small deposits.
