Mike Latour from the United States managed to win the 2016 Seneca Niagara Falls Summer Slam $200 No-Limit Hold'em Event. The winner was able to climb the leaderboard, since at the beginning of the tournament he had been considered to be one of the favorites. The victory allowed Mike Latour to collect $21,246. To become the owner of this impressive amount, he had to defeat 561 opponents.
A lot of participants entered the event via satellites held on Friday and Saturday. Despite the fact that the guaranteed prize pool of the tournament was 50,000 dollars, buy-ins of poker players allowed to collect $92,378.

John Huening was forced to go home taking the sixth place. An Abe Reinhardtís hand was beaten by a Latourís pair. So, he finished in the fifth place. Then Mike Latour eliminated Matt Devins with his pair of kings. Therefore, Mr. Devins occupied the fourth position in the final standings. So, Latour won a lot of chips.
Then Latour managed to collect a straight and earned many chips. Thus, Latour had twice as many chips as his nearest follower. So, Thomas Mader took the third place.
In the heads-up round Mike Latour faced Rodolfo Navas. Latourís kings allowed him to beat Navas and win the competition.
The next tournament of Seneca Niagara will take place on July 28. It is called the $300 Pot-Limit Omaha $15,000 Guaranteed Event.
