Playtech, which one of the world's largest online gaming software suppliers, does not cease to acquire new assets. One of the most recent acquisitions of the company is Best Gaming Technology. Playtech purchased 90% of shares of the Austrian software developer for 138 million euros.
The shares were acquired on the London Stock Exchange two weeks ago. This information was announced by Armin Sageder, CEO of Best Gaming Technology. He will save his job during at least three years. This has become possible thanks to the remaining ten percent of shares.
Best Gaming Technology is a famous software developer that specializes in products for sports wagering. For example, it supplies the leading bookmakers, including Ladbrokes, Paddy Power Betfair, and William Hill with its excellent content.
In addition, the company creates software for so-called self-service betting terminals. They facilitate the process of placing wagers for fans of betting.
Best Gaming Technology brought 41.6 million euros of revenue to its owners in 2015.
So, the company is a fast-growing and prospective supplier of software for sports betting. It offers excellent solutions and products that can be easily implemented in the platforms of Playtech.
Playtech has been really active on the market over several years. The company acquired Aristocrat Lotteries for 10.5 million euros. Approximately 208 million euros was spent on TradeFX. This acquisition allowed creating three hundred jobs. In addition, the company spent over half a billion dollars to buy Plus500, which is a company offering online trading services to retail clients, and Ava Trade, a Forex broker.
It is also worth mentioning that the iPoker Network is owned and operated by Playtech.
