A standard 52-card deck is used in Tens or Better Power Poker. The cards are shuffled before each new round. At the same time, the cards are dealt from independent decks for each hand.
All poker hands in Tens or Better Power Poker are classic. The lowest-ranking hand is a pair of tens and the highest-ranking one is a royal flush.
