How to Play Grand Hold’em (Novomatic / Greentube)

The Grand Hold’em is played with a traditional deck of fifty-two cards without jokers. Cards must be shuffled before each deal. Cards are not stored in the shoe between the deals.

The goal of the game is to beat the dealer by making a stronger poker combination than he has.

Moreover, the customer wins a payoff if the dealer doesn't have the minimal card set, provided by the rules.

The basic rules of Texas hold'em poker against the casino have been described at Casinoz.club.

Playing the Grand Hold’em is possible for one hand only. We recommend to check out the range of bets directly at the online casinos, as operators may set different limits.

When the player places ante and clicks play buttons, the dealer deals two cards and two cards to himself. The croupier doesn't show his hand. Moreover, he reveals three community cards. Both parties can use them for combinations.

At this stage, the customer must decide how to act. There are two options:

  1. Call – keep playing and place another bet in the amount of two ante;
  2. Fold – quit the game, fold the cards and lose ante.

If the player calls, the dealer deals two more community cards. Then both parties make the best five-card combination of seven they have. It happens automatically.

After that, the croupier checks for the minimal combination, which is a pair of fours. If the dealer doesn't have it, the player wins a payoff in the amount of one ante.

If the dealer has the game, he compares his hand with the user's one. If the customer loses, he leaves without both bets. In case of victory, he wins one ante, while Call is paid by an index of formed combination:

  • Straight or lower – 1:1;
  • Flush – 2:1;
  • Full House – 3:1;
  • Four of a Kind – 10:1;
  • Straight Flush – 20:1;
  • Royal Flush – 100:1.

Here the deal is over. No gambling feature is suggested.

Grand Hold’em Bonus games

No prize features of free plays are available on the Grand Hold’em; however, the customers can place a bonus bet. It must be equal to ante and be staked on Aces or Better field. The name of the field refers to the situations when payoffs by this position can be made. The customer wins when he has two aces or a stronger combination in his two starting cards.

Wins are calculated by following multipliers:

  • A pair of aces – 7:1;
  • Straight – 7:1;
  • Flush – 20:1;
  • Full House – 30:1;
  • Four of a Kind – 40:1;
  • Straight Flush – 50:1;
  • Royal Flush – 100:1.

These payoffs are made independently of the result of the deal.

If the first five cards do not show at least two aces, the bonus bet goes to the casino right away.

Jackpots

The Grand Hold’em doesn't play out any progressive jackpots by Novomatic.
